Five Crewmen Saved From Alaska Fishing Vessel CAPTAIN ANDREW

Five crewmen have been rescued from a sinking fishing vessel near King Cove, Alaska. Two good samaritan vessels were instrumental in the rescue. The crew of the JUST IN CASE were able to rescue the crewmen from the CAPTAIN ANDREW. The vessel had gone aground four miles southeast of King Cove Sunday morning. The GOLDEN DAWN also participated in the rescue efforts. The cause of the grounding of the 57-foot CAPTAIN ANDREW is unknown and under investigation. No injuries were reported in the accident. The vessel reportedly has 2000 gallons of fuel on diesel fuel on board.
