Alaska Fishing Vessel NOR'QUEST Goes Aground On Togiak Bay

May 25, 2011 - The 102-foot fish tender NOR'QUEST parted its anchor line and went aground on Togiak Bay on Wednesday with two crewmen aboard. The vessel was succesfully refloated after its fuel was removed on Monday with the assistance of Magone Marine and towed to Dutch Harbor. Early reports indicate there has been no environmental damage as a result of the grounding. The NOR'QUEST is owned by SRW Services and was reportedly in Togiak Bay to tender herring for Icicle Seafoods. No crewmen were reported injured in the accident.
